Monday, April 20th was an exciting and busy day on the Panorama Campus as over 300 students lined up in their vehicles to pick up Emergency Food Boxes. Through collaboration with Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) Food Bank, the Office of Student Life staff were able to distribute boxes of canned fruits, veggies, pasta, frozen meat, and cheese to over 300 households. The line of vehicles to pick up their boxes lead from Levinson Hall all the way down Haley Street.

We were so happy to see students utilizing our BC services as we are always here to serve our students. If you missed the express emergency food boxes, students can still sign up online at the Renegade Pantry web page to pick up a food bag once per week.

The Pantry is available for drive-thru service from 11am to 2pm, Monday thru Thursday. You can also get your Flu Shot or borrow a Chromebook for your academic success. The Renegade Pantry has been staffed by our dedicated and passionate student employees since BC physical closure and we are so grateful to have this resource still available for our student Renegades. A huge thank you goes out to the Office of Student Life staff for keeping us all thriving!
