BC Attends Bakersfield Christmas Parade

This year, Bakersfield College participated in the Bakersfield Christmas Parade. Before the parade could start, our team was told by members of the Bakersfield Police Department that the parade had been canceled due to a vehicle hitting multiple people. After the team had left, it was announced that the parade had rerouted and resumed for some of the floats closer to the downtown area who had been asked to stay. Although we did not get to participate this year, we want to give a big thank you and shout-out to everyone who came together to help work on the float, lowrider, music, and cheer. Our thoughts are with those who were hurt before this year’s Bakersfield Christmas Parade.
